Cookie Policy
Last updated: 2026-09-13 — How we use cookies on this site and how you can control them.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit websites. They help operate the site and improve your experience.
Short summary
This site uses strictly necessary cookies only. We run no advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking, and no analytics tool that sets cookies.
Cookies we use
All of them are strictly necessary, which is why no consent banner is shown:
- Cloudflare Turnstile: protects the contact form from spam and automated submissions. Active only when you use the form on the Contact page.
- Language cookie (mb_lang): remembers your Arabic/English choice so you are not asked again on every visit.
These files are not used to identify you and are not shared with any third party for marketing.
Visit measurement — without cookies
We use Umami, an open-source analytics tool that we host on our own servers. It:
- Sets no cookies on your device.
- Does not track you across sites and builds no profile of you.
- Collects no data that identifies you — only aggregate figures: visit counts, most-viewed pages, device type, country, and referrer.
Because it uses neither cookies nor personal data, it requires no consent and has no opt-out switch here. The data stays on our servers and is never sent to an advertising company.
No embedded third-party content
No page on this site loads content from a third party. Everything you see — including the office location map on the Contact page — is served from our own servers.
That map is a static image we generated from OpenStreetMap data via Protomaps; displaying it contacts no outside party. Pressing "Get directions" opens Google Maps in a new tab, and that only happens if you choose it.
What we do NOT use
- Google Analytics or any third-party analytics service.
- Social tracking pixels (e.g., Meta Pixel).
- Behavioural or retargeting advertising.
- Heatmaps or session recorders.
How to control cookies
All modern browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings, including blocking third-party cookies only. Note: disabling strictly necessary cookies may prevent you from submitting the contact form.
Validity
- Language cookie (mb_lang): one year.
- Cloudflare Turnstile cookies: very short-lived (minutes to hours, depending on the browser).
- No third-party cookies at all: the site sets no cookie belonging to any outside party.
Updates
If we ever add a tool that sets non-essential cookies, we will update this page and reinstate the consent banner before switching it on.
