What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit websites. They help operate the site, improve user experience, and measure performance.

Categories we use

1. Strictly necessary cookies

Required for the site to function securely and cannot be disabled:

• Cloudflare Turnstile: protects the contact form from spam and automated submissions. Active only during form submission.
• Basic preference cookies: stores your language choice (Arabic/English) and your cookie banner preference.

These cookies do not collect personally identifiable commercial information.

2. Performance analytics (Google Analytics 4)

We use Google Analytics 4 from Google LLC to measure performance in aggregate:

• Visitor counts, most-viewed pages, time on site, and general navigation paths.
• We enable IP anonymization (anonymize_ip) to minimise personal data.
• We run in Consent Mode v2 — these cookies are only activated after your explicit consent via the cookie banner.
• We do not use this data for targeted advertising or remarketing.

GA data is stored by Google under Google's privacy policies. See Google's Privacy Policy and manage your Google data.

What we do NOT use

• Social tracking pixels (e.g., Meta Pixel).
• Behavioural advertising.
• Heatmaps or session recorders.

How to control cookies

• On the site: review and update preferences any time via the "Cookie Settings" button at the bottom of any page.
• In your browser: all modern browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings. Note: disabling strictly necessary cookies may prevent you from submitting the contact form.
• Browser-level GA opt-out: install Google's official GA opt-out add-on.

Validity

• Consent cookie (mb_cc): expires 12 months after your accept/reject decision, after which the banner reappears.
• **Google Analytics cookies (_ga, _ga_): default 2 years* from Google. Cleared immediately if you withdraw consent.
• Turnstile cookies: very short-lived (minutes to hours, depending on the browser).

Updates

If we make material changes to this policy (such as adding a new tracking category), we will bump the policy revision and the consent banner will reappear for all visitors to review.
